Customized Fire Extinguisher Manufacturer — Portable, Trolley, Automatic, Clean Agent and Water-Based

Five types of fire extinguisher, factory-direct and CCC certified. Two things decide most fire extinguisher orders before the model does: which agent suits the risk, and whether the destination still permits it. Both are settled here rather than at the port.

Product range

Five fire extinguisher types, and what each one is right for

The agent follows the fire class and the thing being protected. Capacity follows the coverage the schedule requires. Everything below is standard production, available with OEM labelling.

Portable ABC dry powder fire extinguishers
01

Portable (ABC Dry Powder)

Best for general commercial and municipal cover — the most widely sourced type globally. Handles Class A wood and paper, Class B flammable liquids and Class C electrical. Eight capacity options from 1 to 12 kg. CCC and ISO 9001.

Wheeled trolley fire extinguishers
02

Trolley Mounted

Best for industrial and large commercial areas where a portable unit does not carry enough agent to matter. Wheeled, 20 to 100 kg, in ABC dry powder, CO₂ or foam. Consider the handling route on site before the capacity.

Ceiling-mounted automatic fire extinguisher
03

Automatic

Best for unattended or hard-to-reach risk areas — plant rooms, electrical cupboards, storage voids. Self-activating at an ambient threshold between 68 and 141 °C, 1 to 6 kg. Mounting height and whether the space is normally occupied decide the model.

Clean agent fire extinguishers
04

Clean Agent

Best for data centres, server rooms and archives, where the residue from dry powder would cause more loss than the fire. Leaves no residue and no secondary damage. HFC-227ea or CO₂, 2 to 6 kg. HFC-227ea is subject to phase-down in EU markets — verify local compliance before ordering for an EU destination.

Water and water-additive fire extinguishers
05

Water-Based

Best for Class A risks where dry powder residue would contaminate what is being protected — food handling, clean production areas, public interiors. Water mist and water-plus-additive, 6 to 9 L.

OEM and private label

OEM and private label fire extinguishers: what can carry your brand

All five types support private label. Custom brand label, body colour, neutral or white-label packaging and individual carton design are standard; a custom valve or nozzle specification, or a modified capacity, has to be confirmed per model. Minimum customization quantities differ by type, so a programme spanning portable and trolley units carries two thresholds rather than one. Tell us which types the brand goes on and we will state both before you commit to artwork.

01

Share the requirement

Product specification, label design files, quantity per model, and destination market. If you are replicating an existing product, send a sample or a technical drawing rather than a description.

02

Quotation and sample

An OEM quotation within two to three business days. On confirmation we produce a pre-production sample for approval, at 15–20 days lead time.

03

Production

After sample approval and deposit the order enters the schedule. Bulk lead time 35–60 days depending on quantity and customization. Custom body colour carries a minimum quantity of its own.

04

Export ready

Packed to your specification with your labels, shipped with test reports, CCC documentation, material safety data sheets, packing list and commercial invoice.

Customized units for indoor spaces

A customized fire extinguisher for an indoor space: which agent, and what changes with it

Buyers asking for a customized or non-polluting extinguisher usually mean one of two different things, and the answer is not the same. Most mean the environmental question — whether the agent is still permitted where the goods are going. Some mean residue — what the unit leaves behind when it discharges. Both are settled before the quotation, not at the port.

If the constraint is environmental compliance — start here. Water-based, 6 to 9 L, is the unit that travels without a compliance argument: no fluorinated gas, no phase-down schedule attached to it, and Class A cover for food handling, clean production areas and public interiors. CO₂ is the other one that ships freely. HFC-227ea clean agent is subject to phase-down in EU markets, so for an F-gas restricted destination it is the wrong starting point however clean the discharge is. Tell us the destination and we will say which of the five types can actually ship there.

If the constraint is residue rather than emissions. Clean agent leaves nothing behind — HFC-227ea or CO₂, 2 to 6 kg. That is the reason it goes into server rooms, archives and switch rooms, where powder would cost more than the fire. Water-based, 6 to 9 L, does the same for Class A risks. Leaving no residue and having a low environmental impact are not the same property, and a supplier who treats them as one is setting you up for a customs problem. All of them are customizable on label, body colour and packing.

What customization covers, and what it does not. Brand label, body colour, neutral or white-label packaging and individual carton design are standard on all five types, including clean agent and water-based. A different agent, a modified capacity, or a custom valve or nozzle specification is confirmed per model rather than assumed — those change the pressure rating and the certification that goes with it.

Minimum quantities differ by type. A customized programme covering both portable and clean agent units carries two thresholds, not one. Send the types and the destination together and both numbers come back with the price, so the programme is costed before you commit to artwork.

Why here

Six reasons buyers keep the extinguisher line with us

Extinguishers are the easiest fire product to buy badly, because every supplier’s catalogue photograph looks the same. These are the differences that show up after the order.

01

Full range, one supplier

Five extinguisher types plus five other product lines, all made in-house. Extinguishers can travel with sprinklers, hydrants, hoses and foam components in a single order and a single container.

02

CCC certified production

The extinguisher lines hold CCC, the mandatory mark for Chinese-manufactured fire protection products, and the documentation ships with every consignment rather than on request.

03

MOQ that a distributor can trial

200 pcs per type is low enough to test a new line without committing inventory capital to it. Mixed sizes count toward the same container rather than each needing its own.

04

Lead times you can plan against

Samples in 15–20 days, bulk in 35–60 days from order confirmation, and buffer stock held on fast-moving standard sizes so a repeat order does not restart the clock.

05

OEM across all five types

Custom labels, body colours and packaging. Custom brand label, neutral or white-label packaging and individual carton design are standard; a custom valve or nozzle specification, or a modified capacity, is confirmed per model rather than assumed.

06

Direct factory, no intermediary

You deal with the production team rather than a trading company placing the order elsewhere. No agency fee, no reseller margin, and traceability back to the batch.

Before approval

What to verify in a fire extinguisher manufacturer, and where

Extinguishers are pressure vessels and dangerous goods. The checks below are the ones that matter before a first order, and every one of them is something you can do without taking our word for it.

Extinguisher production line
CCC certificate — verify it yourself at cccis.cnca.cn
Cylinder forming station
ISO 9001 certificate — verify with the issuing body
Pressure test bench
Third-party inspection: SGS, BV, Intertek, or your nominee
Packing and marking
Factory visit or video call before the first order

Destination note

For UK and European buyers

UK and EU enquiries run through the same route as any other destination, with one step settled before quoting: we confirm which agents and sizes your destination still permits, and which CE documentation travels with the shipment. The ABC dry powder range is the usual starting point for UK distributors. Send the standard you buy against, and the reply will state what we can evidence against it — not a blanket claim.

Common questions

Fire extinguisher questions buyers ask before the first order

What types of fire extinguisher do you manufacture?

Five: portable ABC dry powder 1–12 kg; trolley-mounted ABC, CO₂ or foam 20–100 kg; automatic ceiling-mount 1–6 kg; clean agent HFC-227ea or CO₂ 2–6 kg; and water-based 6–9 L. All available in standard configurations or with OEM customization, and mixed-type orders are accepted.

What certifications do the extinguishers hold?

The production lines hold CCC, the mandatory mark for Chinese-manufactured fire protection products, and it is verifiable in the CNCA database at cccis.cnca.cn. The factory operates under ISO 9001. Documentation ships with every order. CE is not confirmed for this line — on our range CE covers sprinklers and alarm valves only.

Are fire extinguishers dangerous goods?

Yes. Pressurised units containing dry powder, CO₂ or clean agent are Class 2.2, non-flammable non-toxic compressed gas, for international shipment. That typically adds a freight surcharge of 1.3 to 1.5 times standard cargo rates. We handle DG documentation routinely, but budget for the surcharge rather than discovering it at booking.

What is the HS code for fire extinguishers?

8424.10.00 for portable and trolley extinguishers. It appears on every commercial invoice and export document we issue.

What is the MOQ, and can I mix sizes?

200 pcs for most standard models. Mixed orders across sizes and types are accepted in the same container. For evaluation we accept 1–10 pcs per model at sample pricing, charged at cost.

What are the lead times?

Samples 15–20 business days from payment. Bulk 35–60 days from order confirmation, depending on total quantity and customization. Standard 5 kg ABC portable units sit at the lower end. Give us your required delivery date at inquiry and we will say whether it is achievable.

Can you produce under our own brand?

Yes, for all five types — brand labels, body colour, packaging design, and for some models modified specifications. Send label files or a design brief and we produce a pre-production sample for approval before the full run.

Can we arrange third-party inspection?

Yes — SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek, or any agency you nominate. Give us five to seven business days’ notice before the preferred inspection date so the goods are ready, and we provide the test records and batch documentation for the lot.

What payment and trade terms apply?

T/T, with 30% deposit on order confirmation and 70% before shipment. EXW from the factory in Quanzhou, FOB Quanzhou or Xiamen, or CIF to a named destination port. We can advise which is most economical for your destination.

How do I verify a Chinese extinguisher supplier?

Five checks, none of which require trusting us: request the CCC certificate and verify it at cccis.cnca.cn; request the ISO 9001 certificate and verify with the issuing body; ask for factory photos and a video call if you cannot visit; verify the company registration on official Chinese business databases; and order samples before the first bulk commitment.

RFQ review

Send the type, the quantity and the destination

We reply within one business day with factory-direct pricing, the CCC documentation position, DG shipping notes for your route, and a confirmed production schedule. If the agent choice is what you are unsure about, describe the risk instead and we will propose it.
